What causes people to be nostalgic?
Is it because the present is a giant clusterfuck or the past, due to human memory and bias, a rose tinted paradise or is it because we’re dependent on “happy” memories to rise like a patronus to guide us through the murky future?
With all the faff of the above paragraph put aside, would i even think, let alone revel of the “good old days” if i had unlimited access to the Playboy Mansion, all the video games in the world and Bill Gates as my peon?
Rather, would you if you had all you ever needed and more?
Think about it.
Now Listening It: Napoleon IIIrd – The Conformist Takes All

You will, I will. We all will. And, then we’ll crave a silly nine rupee sandwich, or a stupid day loafing, or whatever else made those colleges day tick. Cus time torments, time heals, hell, time even moves on to new, better things but time, time never lets us forget:) And, so when some of us get lucky and well, some of us don’t we’ll keep running back to the solace of college. For all it ‘s worth. Because, then it was happy and carefree? Because then people were more real? Because then there was no fear? No hassle of money and clients, only teachers and allowance? Because then love was easier? Ah, who knows. But, really no matter who you turn out to be.. even if it’s John Lennon of the Beatles. You’ll always want to run back to the glory days that shaped so much of you…even if you’re so ashamed you’ll only do it in your head.
sigh… is that meant to be sentimental?? :p
coz i’m forgetting college already..i never felt better than i did in skool so yeah i guess its my skool days that do it for me. Yeah.. i will cherish instances from college, but college as a whole was a bit of a letdown. partly my own doing. i didnt let my hair down enuf.. didnt do all the things i really wanted to.
