… so far at least. Been to work early for more than one day (two! That’s 100% over my previous best! Shattering!), created a sort of monster by divulging too much information about a certain website (which i assure you is non-pornographic in nature) and realizing that my patience along with my waistline, is wearing thin. Well at least, towards some segments of the society (read: all) and workforce. There’s a limit to the amount of dumbness (albeit comical) that one can take. For instance:
“Hello XYZ, I hear you’re a big fanboy of ABC game.”
“Your voice sounds so different on a landline (as compared to a cellphone).”
“STU title didn’t work on the PS3 because I sent the X360 version” (as you can see, certain people can’t make out the glaring differences or bother to check)
It’s times like these i’m glad i bring my iPod to work. All hail Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine (the irony is rife) and Air among others for keeping me sane. Until i get a text from a perceived best (pest?) friend who leads me to believe that the person in question’s world is coming to a grinding catastrophic halt when it is really quite to the contrary. And if that wasn’t enough, this specific case refuses to entertain let alone hear a voice of reason. Apparent or otherwise.
Oh well at least i have my work most of which seems reminiscent to a neglected, malnourished refugee-camp acquainted, war stricken child borderline committing suicide. Hopefully that giant “Fuck the world because i’m busy saving my career” force field i ordered arrives tomorrow because heaven, hell and the purgatory knows i need it.
