For Immediate Release: Official Correspondence

Dear friends, gargoyles, orcs and witches,

The Emirate of h3lios would like to thank you for all your support and kind wishes towards his royal highness, h3lios the 1st in his time of need.

However his majesty beseeches that you desist from asking him questions like, “Are you alright?” or “How are you doing?”, as it makes him feel, in his own words, “lame”. Rather than bore you with my verbose, dry, formal slurs (as his godlikeness calls it) here is a statement from his majesty himself:

Sup people,

It would be uber-sweet if you’d, you know, stop asking me, stuff like me being okay and crap.

Sure i know you guys care and all that, but asking me those questions routinely makes me feel like some sort of emo-goth kid high on substances like My Chemical Romance, writing poems about death and the futility of life with my own blood that i slit from my wrists to know what pain feels like.

Since i’ve grossed you folks out sufficiently, i know you’d kindly do the needful.

Peace Out,
h3lios the 1st
Ruler of the Emirate of h3lios

Now that you’ve heard from his righteousness , i’d like to state that the normal programming on this blog is up and running. The apparently grotesque (though brilliantly functional) template you see right now is just a placeholder till his majesty decides on something more tasteful.

Thank you for your time and patience,

orpheus

So Long Suckers!

So today i picked up my marksheet. Probably the only official reminder of the epic journey known as BMM.

i can’t believe it. No, not that it’s over. But rather because one shitty, worthless piece of paper is all that will stand for everything. Three years. Three oh-my-fucking-god-this-is-insane years condensed into one pathetic mark sheet.

Six hours into saving this post as a draft and i still can’t believe it. Adjectives fail me. Fail me to the point that it’s 3:49 AM and i’m just groping in the dark for the right word.

Thank God for the sweatshirt though. Good to know that we ex-students know what actually counts and what doesn’t.

This post wouldn’t be complete without a big thank you to the people who made the trip worthwhile, you know who you are. May you be blessed with fully functional souls and a life filled with South Park, Porn Stories, Casting Couches, Sugarcane juice and Capital Punishment for Harry Potter Spoilers. Not necessarily in that order.

With a shoot awaiting me this morning and the faint voice of reason begging in unadulterated agony i end this post here. Where i left it six hours ago…

Speechless.

Thanks to Nidhi for the sweatshirt snap

Boredom Rhymes with Introspection!

If you think this is going to be one of those “what i did last week” posts, think again. It’s just about a pseudo-reunion that took place yesterday, in the outer realm of Thane.

Luckily all my papers were in order so the border immigration guys didn’t give me any trouble. After all, i had to visit what we tourists call “first left from Eternity Mall”, which is known to the locals as “Thane Mental Hospital”, but known to all us BMM folk as An0′s place.

Anything but a mental hospital, though, though we have doubts about the mental health of one of the residents whose name rhymes with “know” or “ya”.

Sure it was nice to meet up with the BMM bunch, what with the usual ribbing, gossiping and bitching, it just seemed a tad lame.

Then again it would always be if you’re their moving target but hey, i’m used to it. And its not as if i never get back or they never fall victim to shooting themselves in the mouth. With a rocket launcher.

What is lame, lame to the point of cripple to be precise, is the dreaded C-word.

Get your head out of the gutter (An0 this means you). The word is change.

Some people never change, those who do, change for the worse. Leading to a distorted, perverse sense of what is real and what is not.

Sure we’re all friends and all that social jazz, but if the person in question seems so disconnected and vague, a shell of what he/she was, and that too a transformation so intense in a period of 3 years, just leaves me shocked.

Even more so when there’s a quaint little true to life fable or “history” shared with the individual. Color me caustic and sceptic, but there’s more than meets the eye. Either the last few years were a total facade or what’s going on right now is one.

Quite irritating is this bitch called change. Especially when its uncalled for, unecessary and seems extremely fake.

All in an attempt to gain Sainthood perhaps? Only time will tell.

For now, i’m just grateful that those who count, are just the same. Even if they’re not, at least they’re honest about it. Or seem to be.

Thanks for being around.

List

Is it just me or is everyone taking the end of BMM a little too seriously? Alas a plague of insecurity is upon us, combined with dollops of melodrama. The fun never stops.

Thank God for our own resident Matt Stone and Trey Parker, aka An0 and Ayesha. Their antics left an entire library of students in conniptions and two other students in splits of never-ending laughter. Good times, it’s a pity the content of their amazing impromptu act would never find its way on to this blog because it would be treated as if it contained “missiles of self-destruction” by the Dubyas of the interweb. You guys know who you are.

That aside, A&A’s little escapades have made me more aware and thankful of a lot of things that help preserve sanity, or a semblance of it. Such as:

  1. Little Gamers
  2. The Last Boss
  3. Metallica
  4. A Perfect Circle
  5. Tenacious D
  6. Command & Conquer 3 demo (till the full game comes out)
  7. South Park
  8. Dueling Analogs
  9. tbreak
  10. The [H]
  11. The Cricinfo World Cup Monitor

Oh yeah, and some real people too. i think.

For now i’ve some notes to absorb for future vomiting. So till the next update, lest i’m devoured by the scourge of exams…

Comment people! Comment!
